Outcomes:
Provider will be able to: Identify appropriate administration of the Goldman Fristoe instrument evaluating children's articulation skills for the purpose of documenting the existence of an articulation impairment and qualify the examinee for clinical services
Provider will be able to: Assess a child’s articulation of the consonant sounds of Standard American English, and determines types of misarticulation for children and young adults and compares individual performance to national, gender-differentiated norms.
Provider will be able to: Identify use of instrument to identify articulation errors in the initial, medial, and final position of words
Provider will be able to: Identify raw scores to age-based standard scores with separate gender normative tables for males and females. It is a time-efficient, clinically informative instrument for evaluating children's articulation skills for the purpose of documenting the existence of an articulation impairment and qualify the examinee for clinical services
Provider will be able to: Identify use of instrument for computing and extrapolating from raw data age-based standard scores with separate gender normative tables for males and females
Provider will be able to: Identify use of instrument for child evaluation, academic placement, eligibility, instructional planning, and treatment planning
Provider will be able to: Identify use of normed instrument for children assessment, evaluation, student academic placement, Individual Educational Plans (IEP's), Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP's), instructional planning, and to determine eligibility for early intervention and pre-school, and school programs.
